Villa Anila 2 Bedroom

Two-bedroom Villa Anila in a Modern Balinese style. Minimalist exterior with clean lines and earthy tones; timber accents and full-height glass sliders pull the living spaces onto the pool deck. 197m² build.

Villa Anila turns inward around a courtyard pool. A frangipani tree leans over the water, strips of lawn run between the paving, and trailing plants hang from a planter along the upper floor, where a timber lattice screen faces the garden. The two-bedroom Modern Balinese design is drawn for Boracay in the Philippines, with walls in a dark grey render patterned like crazy paving.

At the end of the mosaic-tiled pool, a cabana with a timber ceiling and a ceiling fan frames a cushioned daybed, with an outdoor shower on the wall beside it. Up a few steps, a terrace under a heavy timber pergola holds an L-shaped sofa around a round table, plus a dining set and an outdoor bar with open shelving.

Timber-framed sliding doors open the living and dining rooms onto the courtyard. The bedrooms sit under raised ceilings lined in timber, with timber wall panelling behind the beds and woven pendant lights. The bathrooms use white vertical tiles over grey stone. One looks through a timber sliding door into a small planted light well, and another sets a freestanding bath beside a window onto the garden.
