Villa Kidung
About the Project
Modern Tropical
Design
This villa complex consists of 2 villas that will be used as holiday rentals. Each of the investment villas has been designed with holidaymakers in mind, with features that will ensure guests have an exceptional stay.
Villa Kidung is a pair of Modern Tropical villas planned together on one 803 square metre plot in Bali. The aerial render shows white, flat-roofed houses on two floors set back from the road behind planted verges, with roof terraces on top and a pool on a timber deck. The exteriors combine white render, vertical timber battens and one wall of stacked natural stone beside the water.
On the roof, a covered terrace stands on timber posts against a stone back wall. Inside, terrazzo-look floors run through the living areas. The lounge is sunken, with grey steps leading down to a long sofa beside full-height black-framed glass, and a band of rattan grilles runs above the glazing. Behind it, the kitchen combines dark upper cabinets, louvred timber doors and a breakfast bar, and a floating timber stair on a black steel stringer climbs past a slot of planting.
The three-bedroom layout keeps the bedrooms simple, with timber beds, woven wall pieces, arched doorways and, in one room, sliding glass straight onto the pool. The bathrooms are consistent from room to room: terrazzo floors, black-framed shower screens and timber vanities with rattan doors, and one adds a freestanding tub at a wide window.
