Villa Lovina

This small luxury villa has an exceptional modern tropical design, with clean edges and the perfect touch of warm wood throughout. The facade is clean with a minimalistic style that is complemented by tropical gardens.

Villa Lovina keeps to a single storey, laid out low across a 950 m² lot in Turks & Caicos with a long lawn in front. The two-bedroom Modern Tropical design uses flat white roofs with deep overhangs that step around the plan, and a raised section over the living room lets light in through a clerestory strip. Vertical timber battens frame the main opening onto the garden.

A broad timber deck carries most of the outdoor living. A sunken lounge is cut into it, lined with cushioned benches around a low table, and an outdoor dining table sits close to the house. The pool is set in a raised concrete edge with a planter island in the middle, where a frangipani grows out of the water. A round canopy daybed and loungers under parasols sit along the deck.

Inside, timber floors run through the living and dining areas, the kitchen island has a speckled stone top over a dark base, and recessed ceilings are lit by cove lighting. The bedrooms have timber ceilings, vertical timber battens behind the bed, a tufted bench and full-height glass to the garden. The bathroom pairs a mosaic-tiled shower wall with a freestanding bath and twin basins.
