Villa Manu
About the Project
Tropical
Design
Villa Manu epitomises modern tropical luxury, boasting three bedrooms and an open-airy layout with multiple lounging areas. Its inviting ambiance is fashioned from a harmonious blend of beige and soft brown hues, creating an irresistibly welcoming atmosphere.
Tall and narrow, Villa Manu is drawn for a long plot. The street side is almost closed: a carport, a walled courtyard with a single frangipani in a gravel bed, and a timber front door. Behind it the house rises three storeys as a plain white tower with slot windows, and the roof terrace at the top carries a lounge under a pavilion with a hipped roof.
Along the side boundary, a long pool runs beside a timber deck, with a daybed under a pergola at the water's edge and a curtain of trailing plants hanging from the upper floor. Black-framed sliding doors open the living and dining rooms straight onto the deck. Inside, a grey block feature wall anchors the lounge, and a live-edge timber table sits under two woven pendants in the dining room.
One bedroom has a four-poster bed under a pitched timber ceiling, and another has a slatted timber headboard wall and a fitted desk. Bathrooms mix a freestanding bath, terrazzo vanities and bamboo ladder towel rails, and the plan includes a laundry with stacked machines. The palette in this three-bedroom Tropical villa in Bali stays in beige, grey and mid-brown timber.
