Villa Savana 4 Bedroom

Four-bedroom Villa Savana, 176m² build. Open-plan ground floor with rooftop lounge as the secondary entertaining space. Modern Tropical detailing across both volumes, completed 2021.

Villa Savana is a four-bedroom villa in Bali designed by Balitecture. Its white, flat-roofed rooms sit around a pool with a timber deck and a hanging egg chair, and a black steel pergola shades the glass doors into the living room. One bedroom has a pitched roof with a timber-clad gable and opens onto its own patch of lawn.

An open steel stair with timber treads climbs from the pool deck to the roof. Up there, a teak dining table and benches sit under a thatched umbrella beside a pitched shingle roof, and a second lounge with a round rattan daybed is shaded by a slatted black pergola, looking out into the treetops.

The living and dining spaces of this Modern Tropical villa rise into timber-lined pitched ceilings, with black steel-framed windows onto the planting and wishbone chairs around a timber table. The bedrooms open through full-height sliding glass to the garden or the pool. Two bathrooms are open to the sky, each with a dark stone bathtub and a concrete basin, and an outdoor shower stands against black stone walls topped with breeze blocks.
