Bellano Villa

This three-bedroom villa is all about blending sleek design with everyday practicality. The architecture plays with sharp lines, warm wood accents, and plenty of glass, giving the house a light and airy feel. Large sliding doors connect the indoor living areas with the pool deck, making it easy to switch between relaxing inside or lounging outside.

Timber shutters wrap the upper floor of Bellano Villa, a two-storey, three-bedroom design for Bali drawn as a white cubic house. In the renders some of the shutters are folded back from the bedroom glazing, so the upper facade can close down to a screen of vertical timber or open right up. Below, black-framed sliders line the pool side of the house, and the pool runs beside a strip of lawn planted with travellers palms.

The roof is part of the plan. A timber pergola covers a lounge on the roof deck, with long cushioned benches around a low table and planter beds on both sides, looking out over the treetops. At ground level there are sun loungers on the pool deck, and a walled parking court at the entrance has room for a car and a motorbike.

Inside, a dry-stacked stone wall frames the television in the living room, and the kitchen pairs a timber island and bar stools with woven rattan pendants. Bedrooms use louvred timber wardrobes and arched mirrors. The main bathroom puts a freestanding bath against a natural stone wall, with a double timber vanity and dark stone floor tiles, which suits the Modern Tropical palette of white walls and warm wood.
